Installing a Shared Diary

There is an abundance of calendar applications which are capable of displaying the MyDriveTime feed which has been shared with you. We’ve provided steps for a installing a feed into some of the more popular services, along with any potential caveats to be aware of, which can usually be adapted to for any other calendar apps we haven’t listed here.

Please note: the exact wording of some buttons, labels and fields may differ slightly from what you actually see depending on software and operating system updates that periodically occur.

Google Calendar

Please note: After setting up sharing, any subsequent changes you make to your MyDriveTime diary might take up to 12 hours to show in your Google Calendar. This is a Google restriction which is unfortunately outside our control, so if possible we recommend using one of the other options, as these can be relied on to read the MyDriveTime calendar feed more frequently.

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. Next to ‘Other calendars’ on the left, click the ‘+’ symbol (Add other calendars).
  3. Select ‘From URL’.
  4. Copy and paste one of the MyDriveTime Diary Feed URLs (e.g. https://cal.mydrivetime.co.uk/xxxx/all.ics) into the field provided.
  5. Click ‘Add Calendar’. The calendar will appear on the left side under ‘Other calendars’.

  1. Go to the Play Store and download one of the following apps:
  2. Open the app and tap the ‘+’ symbol in the top right corner to add a new calendar.

  4. Copy and paste one of the MyDriveTime Diary Feed URLs (e.g. https://cal.mydrivetime.co.uk/xxxx/all.ics) into the field provided.
  5. Select a sync period and colour, then save.
  6. Open up your Android calendar app, and you should now see your MyDriveTime calendar.
