Web Teams

TL;DR

You can now convert your independent account into a multi-user account via the new Team section on our website.  Add anyone who helps you with admin support, invite instructors to join your team or learn how to expand and take over the world! 

Teams

You now have a “Team” option on the menu bar.  This is where you’ll find a new suite of tools that will help you add and manage other people connected with your Team.   

To begin your expansion, click on the Team menu option, read all about it, then enter the name of your Team.  It may be preloaded based on your existing records, but you can change it if you wish. Then click 'Create my Team'. 

You have now created a Team.  Congrats!  You can start to add team members here or, if you need advice, contact one of our partners to learn how they can help you expand. 

Clicking on Add Team Member will present the following screen where you can add details of your prospective team member.  

If they already use MyDriveTime then you do not need to add them; simply send details to support@mydrivetime.co.uk and we will add them to your team for you, once we’ve checked that they’re happy to connect. 

If they are new to MyDriveTime, then you can invite them to register with us.  You must specify whether the school will be paying for them or whether they will be paying for themselves. 

You also need to specify which job(s) they will have in your driving school; administrator, instructor or both.  

Remember that ‘admin only’ accounts are free.  Only instructors need to be paid for. 

A Business View

Granted, you may not have trained as a driving instructor with ambitions to grow into a thriving business managing multiple people.  But once the dust settles and you’re comfortable and confident as an independent instructor, it may be something you want to consider. 

You have experience, a full diary and have made some great local contacts.  Perhaps they look at you, are inspired by your approach and want to team up?  Perhaps you’d like to grow by recruiting new PDIs who are ready to learn your ways and deliver them to more students than you can reach personally?
