To view your students:
If you’re looking for an old student, tap on the INACTIVE tab. On Android devices, this is above the list. On iOS, it’s at the bottom of the screen.
From the Students list, tap on the + (plus) button at the top of the screen. Enter the student’s details then hit the Add/Save button to complete the job. Find them in the list and tap their name to access the new student’s record.
When you view a Student record, you’ll notice the information is split into a number of ‘tabs’ that run across the top of the page. These tabs include the student’s profile details, progress through your syllabus, lesson history, financial transactions and summary, and information on their test attempts.
Android users: Tap on a field to open the Edit Student screen then tap the field you want to update to open the keypad. When you’re finished, tap Update to save your changes.
iOS users: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner to open the menu, then hit Edit to open the Edit Student page. Tap the field you want to update then hit Save when you’re done.
As your student progresses through each discipline within your syllabus, simply tap the ‘star’ that best reflects their current skill level. You can clear all selected ‘stars’ by hitting the red icon on the left.
Your entries are updated automatically when you tap an icon, so there’s no need to press a button to register the change.
This is a list of previous and scheduled lessons including date, time, type, locations and duration. The green tick icon appears to show you that you’ve marked that lesson record as Completed.
You can tap a lesson record to open it.
This tab reveals a summary of transactions and tuition time to help you keep track of your activity with this customer. Please note that lesson records must be marked as Completed to be included within the statistics shown here.
To view details of a transaction, tap it to open.
You can use MyDriveTime to record details of both practical and theory test attempts. Add a new test attempt via the menu (three dots) at the top of the screen.
To view details of a test, tap it to open. Here, you can set all sorts of useful info about the test including references, logistics and outcome.
